Get over the week day hump by dining-in at Laura Alberts
We all know what it’s like just getting through the week – so why not ease the stress with dinner at Laura Alberts! Every Wednesday night we serve up a dinner menu that is sure to knock the socks off of any foodee! All entrees under $15! Beer Lovers, take advantage of our Growler Hour discounts on draft beer while you dine! Taste what we’ve got on tap and pick something that will make the rest of your week float by! Dad, don’t make mom cook – take her to Laura Alberts and score brownie points that could keep you out of the danger zone for the rest of the weekend!
It’s a fact of life! Every year Charlestonians must face August’s dreadful humidity. Some poor, unfortunate souls plan family reunions outside at Magnolia place in August, forcing us all to ask “Do we love Aunt Haddie-Boyd enough to stand in the heat?” It’s ALSO a fact, that every humid August, we are fortunate to have a concert from Charleston’s very own Hootie & the Blowfish!

Hootie’s Darius Rucker has been turning the world of Country Music upside down hanging out in Nashville and winning radio awards – so get excited to see him reunite with the Blowfish at the Family Circle Tennis Center in cool breeze at sunset. Here at Laura Albert’s, we’ve got you all set – we’re concert pre-gaming all afternoon with Highland Brewery! ‘Happy Hour’ discounts on craft beer, wine, and Hootie-tizers! We’ll be playing cornhole on our back patio and serving up pints of draft beer.

GROWLER hour–
At 4pm Highland Brewery reps Steve Schwartz & Chris Peters will be on hand to taste you through their offerings. Free glassware, and brewery schwag will be in great abundance. <–Updated 8/12/10 – We sincerely apologize to our customers. We were promised glassware & stickers from our distributor – neither the brewery reps nor distributor came prepared…that’s not how we do business. This will no happen again. We will have 3 Highland brews on tap, 2 at our growler station and 1 in our courtyard! Home-grown fresh local food specials as well as our regular Wednesday night dinner menu. Beer details coming soon….Update 8/9/10 – Highland Oatmeal Porter, Gaelic & Cattail will be on tap for Growler Hour!
