We would like to thank all that came out last Wednesday to enjoy the draft selection from our own SC brewery, RJ Rockers.  The 4 kegs of beer lasted just under 3 hours!  Marc Johnsen, owner, founder, brewmaster at RJ Rockers was on hand to greet everyone and talk beer.  A great time was had by all!
 
Growler Hour Wednesday (4/7)
Like every Wednesday, we will be tapping something special here at LA.  Tomorrow we are excited to be tapping some great Double IPAs!  1st up is the Abita Select Double IPA - this beer is so NEW it only has 7 reviews on BeerAdvocate and not enough reviews on RateBeer to even post a percentile score!  Come get it while its fresh, this double IPA is delicious!  From the website:
 
“Our Double IPA is made with pale and light crystal malts. It is going to give the beer a deep pale color and malty flavor. It will also give it a very strong taste. It is hopped liberally with Apollo, Cascade, Chinook, and Centennial hops. This is going to give the beer a pleasant bitter taste and an intense hop flavor and aroma. The extra bitterness will mix with the strong sweet flavor from the malt to give the beer a very balanced taste. The result is a very bold and flavorful IPA.”
