Pictured above is Davy Crockett himself, Fess Parker standing on his vineyard in Santa Ynez Valley. If you’ve seen the movie Sideway’s you’ll remember the scene where Paul Giamatti’s character, Miles, does something spectacularly uncouth with a spit bucket while at the fictional Frass Canyon vineyard! Frass Canyon was really Fess Parker Winery!
Join us Friday, October 21st for our 4-course Fess Parker wine dinner! Guests will be greeted with a glass of wine prior to dinner to savor as fellow guests arrive. At 7:30 the house will be seated for dinner. A representative from Fess Parker will then walk diners through an elegant portfolio of star quality! This is one dinner event you won’t want to miss.

Pinot Noir aims to satisfy…

Pinot Noir is our chef’s favorite simply because its supple tannins and refreshing acidity work well with a variety of dishes! From salmon filet to sirloin steak, pinots have what it takes to impress!
Check out this diverse dinner menu (featuring some of the BEST Pinot Noir!) happening this Friday at our place.
Where’s your Pinot from?

Pinot Noir grows best in cool weather. Outside of Burgundy, France, the grape is vivacious in Oregon and in California’s Santa Barbara, Mendocino, Russian River and Carneros. You will also find pinots growing in Austria, South Africa and New Zealand.
Row Eleven Vineyards is just one of hundreds of pinot producers in California. Their famed Vinas 3 Pinot Noir hails from 3 different appelations, vineyards and grape clones (all in one bottle!). A sort of salute to the Old World pinot style from within the New. Vinas 3 is crisp and rich in cherry pie flavors and aromas – which is good because - Row Eleven has a contract with Pinot Noir lovers (yeah, pretty dedicated) that says they will “deliver a luscious red wine, rich in cherry pie aromas with a silky smooth finish, at a great price.”
Don’t trust what you read on the internet – try it for yourself! Vinas 3 will be served up with a fabulous selection of wine paired with 4 courses of Chef Matt Brigham’s best this Friday, 6/10 at the Row Eleven Pinot Noir Dinner.
