Calling all Pinot lovers. Karen attended the “Pinot Envy” tasting at the Food & Wine Festival last weekend and couldn’t pull herself away from the Falcor table. This 2006 Pinot Noir from Sonoma Valley is only produced during the very best years of harvest. The small lot handcrafted wine offers flavors of black cherry and ripe plum complemented with earth notes of mushrooms and sweet tannins. A silky, medium to full-bodied wine with immediate appeal, consider setting some aside for 4-6 years. Only 400 cases made. Call today to reserve your bottles. Only $34.
Saturday, March 20th LOWCOUNTRY LOCAL FIRST invites you to take part in a wonderful dining expiernece in your own home. They ask you to host your own Feasting For Farmers dinner with your friends, family, and coworkers to help raise funds for their GROWING NEW FARMERS INCUBATOR project. By hosting one of these parties you will be supporting Lowcountry Local First and raising new awareness of the importance of sustainable agriculture and a strong local food system.
The idea behind Feasting for Farmers is to raise &10,000 toward the program and heighten awareness in the community of the need to support local agriculture. We are asking each host to ask their guest to donate $25, of course even $5 from a guest adds to the local food revolution.
Please contact Amy@lowcountrylocalfirst.org or 740-5444 for details to sign on!
We just received our first and maybe only shipment of the Bell’s Batch 9,000. This is a limited production beer and has only been brewed once. Come in and buy a few bottles while they last!
