“Perception Wines is a partnership between winemaker, Mark Ray, and his two long-time friends Shane MacNicholas and Dean Felber.  The dream of making these wines began in Charleston, South Carolina in 1998.  The first small amounts of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay & Zinfandel were crushed in the fall of 2007.  The winery business was officially established in the spring of 2008 and received a federal basic permit, becoming a California bonded winery, in March of 2009.

The current offering of two wines from the 2007 vintage are the first to be released to the public.  Eleven years in the making, we hope that you enjoy the wines!”

We would like to thank everyone who showed up to support the Sip of Daniel Island Water Missions International event last Wednesday!  The proceeds from the event will go to help provide clean water to countries in need.

Growler Hour Wednesday (3/10)
As we do every Wednesday at 5pm, we’ll be tapping something special on the growler station!  This week we will the be tapping a keg of The Bruery “Mischief”  From the website: “This wickedly good golden ale is fiendishly dry-hopped with American hops to add a layer of complexity and mystery to its fruity, dry Belgian-style character. Citrus and resin diabolically combine with ripe melon, pear and slight peppery spice in a precariously effervescent mixture.
